# Add a Keypool to a Venue or Unit

If you are not familiar with Keypools, please read the [Keypools ](/network-administrator-console/network-operator-settings/keypools.md)page of the Knowledge Base.

### How to Add a Keypool to a Venue

Navigate to the Keypools page by navigating to your Network Operator Console->Venues->View/Modify Venue->select the Venue->Keypools. Here, you have multiple options to choose from when adding a Keypool. You may either create new global, venue, or unit keypools, or you can Assign an Existing Keypool which may enable property to property roaming.

Any Keypool set as a Global Keypool will automatically be added to the Venue. If you wish to add a Local Keypool to the venue, you may do so during the Venue Creation Wizard or Navigate to the Venue's Keypool's page by navigating to your Network Operator Console->Venues->View/Modify Venue->select the Venue->Keypools.

Enter the SSID for the Keypool, and select if the Keypool is [Global or Local](/network-administrator-console/network-operator-settings/keypools.md), then select "Add Keypool."

### How to Add a Keypool to a Unit

In addition to adding a Keypool to a Unit from the Venue Details page, you may also add a Keypool to a unit from the Unit Details page by navigating to your Network Operator Console->Venues->View/Modify Venue->Units->select the Unit->Keypools.
