# View Venue Devices

### How to View a Venue's Devices

From the [Venue Details](/network-administrator-console/managing-your-venues/view-and-modify-venue-details.md#how-to-open-venue-details) page, select the "Devices" tab. This will display a list of recently connected devices at the Venue. You may click on a device to pull up the Subscription Details for the associated resident account.

### Understanding Flagged Devices

VAULT may temporarily throttle a device that sends an unusually high volume of failed Wi-Fi authentication requests. This typically happens when a device is misconfigured or repeatedly retries an incorrect saved password. VAULT will not apply long-term throttling to devices for simple password mistakes.

The majority of throttled attempts come from a small population of devices. At the time this article was published, approximately 61% of failed authentication requests during a recent monitoring period came from only 5% of devices that generated at least one failed request.

Throttling:

* Applies only to the individual device
* Is temporary. Devices that are throttled are automatically reset after a maximum period of time.
* Does not disable the subscriber or venue
* Does not block every connection attempt

If the device later submits valid credentials, it can connect normally. **Under no circumstances does VAULT have a blacklist that blocks all connection attempts from a device.**

### How to View Flagged Devices

Within the Devices menu, select the "Flagged Devices" tab. This contains devices that have been flagged for potential abuse due to high volumes of bad authentication requests. The list contains four pieces of information

1. MAC Address: The physical MAC address of the device
2. Status: There are three status values;
 1. Grace: The device has generated an elevated number of failed requests and is being lightly throttled. If a valid PSK is submitted during a processed request, the device can connect.
 2. Concern: The device has generated an excessive number of failed requests and is being throttled more heavily. A valid PSK can still be processed, but the device may require multiple connection attempts.
 3. Flagged: The device has generated an abusive volume of requests during the monitored period and is being aggressively throttled. The device can still connect if a valid PSK is processed, an administrator resets its status, or the remaining time expires and its status is automatically reset.
3. Attempts: The number of failed attempts received by VAULT during the monitored period. The monitored period begins when the first invalid request is received following an administrative reset or the automatic expiration of the previous monitoring period.
4. Time Remaining: The amount of time remaining in the monitored period, at which point a device's status is reset.

### How to Reset Flagged Devices

From the Flagged Devices list, you may select some or all devices within a venue, and reset their flagged status back to zero. Select the device(s) you wish to reset, and select, "Reset Selected Devices."
